My relationship with Steven and Lisa has been so exciting every step of the way! It began when one of Lisa’s closest friends contacted me to capture Steven proposing to Lisa! About two weeks before the proposal was scheduled to happen I photographed their family after Lisa had booked me to do their fall family photos! I did my very best to hide the fact that I knew Steven was planning to propose, when and where, and that I was going to photograph it! The following weekend Steven got down on one knee surrounded by their three kids and closest friends. It was such a beautiful moment to witness and I am forever grateful to have been a part of it. Flash forward a few months, Steven and Lisa asked me to capture their elopement in the mountains and I didn’t hesitate to say yes, of course!
Their decision to elope to the gorgeous mountains in Kananaskis was a testament to their desire for an intimate and meaningful celebration. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, the couple exchanged vows in a ceremony that beautifully represented their enduring commitment. What made this day even more special was the involvement of their three children, who took on the role of officiants, orchestrating a heartfelt ceremony that showcased the unity and strength of the family they had all built together.
Against the breathtaking backdrop of the stunning mountains, Steven and Lisa reaffirmed their love, not only for each other but for the beautiful family they had created over the course of thirteen remarkable years.
